| Public details: Join in on an evening of old-fashioned fun!
UF School of Music alumnus Matt Gender will accompany two short silent movies using the Andrew Anderson Memorial Pipe Organ. During the silent film era (mid-1890’s to the late 1920’s), the theatre organist would often provide improvised musical accompaniment as patrons enjoyed the drama unfolding on the screen. Come see the iconic horror-comedies: Haunted House (Buster Keaton) & Habeus Corpus (Laurel and Hardy). |
