| Public details: Backgammon is a game for two players, played on a board consisting of twenty-four narrow triangles called points. The object of the game is to move all your checkers into your own home board and then bear them off. The first player to bear off all of their checkers wins the game. A backgammon competition in which players are paired at the start by random draw and everyone is in a single bracket or draw sheet. Winners progress to the next round, and so on all the way to the final, but losing a single match will result in elimination from the tournament. Winners play winners until just the undefeated champion remains; |
