| Public details: It's back again- THE SPRINGS RUN! Run, beer, party. Make it 7.2K around Depot Park and down the Hawthorne trail and you will be rewarded with brews, music, friends, and fun. Raise money for springs protection and get your sweat on. Once again, the run will be followed by an all day festival with beer releases, music, artists, vendors, and whatever other shenanigans our team dreams up.
We're so excited to be back in person for Gainesville's largest single event race!
All profits will benefit the Florida Springs Institute. The Howard T. Odum Florida Springs Institute is an educational non-profit in High Springs dedicated to ensuring the wise management and restoration of Florida springs and the aquifer that we all depend upon for our water supply. Registration in the First Magnitude 7.2 Springs Run will benefit the Florida Springs Institute and its efforts to educate students about springs science.
All runners in the 7.2K will get a First Magnitude beer included with their registration! T-shirts are not included with registration but are available for an additional donation to the Florida Springs Institute during registration! ONLY AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER UNTIL 1/23/2022.
Are you fast? Run for the mug! The top 3 finishers in each age and gender group will get their own First Magnitude mug with a beer fill (for winners under 21 years of age, you will just get the mug). Every runner is entered to win a mug whether you place or not, we want to make that everyone has a chance to be a winner!
Age groups will be split by gender and are as follows: 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65+.
Packet pick-up and shirt distribution will be the week of the race! |
