| Public details: Hello, MADD Family and Friends! WALK LIKE MADD is this SATURDAY, APRIL 7!! Here’s some information you might need…
The walk is held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 4000 NW 53rd Avenue. Gainesville, 32653. You can park in the main parking lot of the church or the one near where we are set up, space permitting. Although the event will be held rain or shine, the weather is supposed to be sunny and cool in the morning, so hopefully we have no worries.
Registration begins at 8:00 am, but if you are already registered, all you have to do is find your team captain, as they will have your t-shirt. If you are bringing someone who has not already registered online, they can register at the site and they can pay their registration fee ($25.00 adults/$20.00 kids 5-18) by cash, credit card or check (payable to MADD).
Opening ceremony will begin at 8:30 and the walk itself will kick off immediately after, down 53rd and turning around at 34th.
We will have coffee and light snack items available before the walk starts--and of course, bottled water--so you can stay energized and hydrated before, during and after!

We all have a REASON to be at Walk Like MADD, so we encourage you to bring signs, pictures or anything you'd like to show everyone why you are walking.
We hope you will use these last few days to help us reach our goal by appealing to any last friends, family member or co-workers who haven’t donated yet. Make sure to explain to them the reasons you support MADD!
And although we may seem busy the day of the walk, please make sure you seek us out and say HELLO! We always feel like this is a “family reunion” of sorts and we’d hate to miss out on thanking you for spending your morning with us and for supporting MADD’s mission!
