Make your Five Points of Life Race Weekend experience even more meaningful by joining Team Five Points. Anyone who raises $105 is eligible to join and will enjoy exclusive benefits throughout race weekend. All funds raised will directly support programs of the Five Points of Life, including Five Points in the Classroom and the Five Points of Life Kids Marathon series. Help us reach our goal of educating 30,000 student this year on the five ways to share life with others!
Training
Local training program options are available in Gainesville. Running clubs are also a great resource and located throughout Florida, including Florida Track Club in Gainesville. Check out our friends at Active.com and Marathonguide.com for more options.
Packet Pickup
Packets will contain your race number, sponsor goodies and your t-shirt. They can be picked up on Friday, February 19 at LifeSouth Community Blood Centers at 4039 Newberry Road, Gainesville, FL 32607 between 4 and 7 p.m. Packets can also be picked up at the finish area on race day beginning at 7 a.m. Race day registration will be accepted for the 5K and Kids Marathon.
Awards & Age Groups
Overall finisher, age groups and master awards will be given out immediately following the race at the start/finish area. Drinks and snacks will also be provided after the race.
Overall finisher awards will be given to the top three finishers for each gender. Age group awards will be dispersed to the top three finishers of each gender in the following age groups:
10 and under
11-15
16-19
20-24
25-29
30-34
35-39
40-44
45-49
50-54
55-59
60-64
65-69
70 +
Course Support
We will have two hydration stops with water along the course. The main medical tent at the start/finish area will also be there to assist you at the beginning and end of the race. |
