Short explanation, an excuse to go out for a beer. Pulaski was born in Warka, Poland, and they export a lovely beer, conveniently called Warka, that I like.
But, Pulaski was quite the military hero in Poland and is known as the "Father of the U.S. Cavalry" as we didn't have one before he was recruited by Benji Franklin.
Quite humbling to review his large life, cut short at 34.
