Because we need to be up early before the winds kick up in the mornings, we will camp out. Please arrive sometime Friday afternoon before dark to set up your tents. We always set up on the far side of the runway near the tree line. It's a short walk across the field to the restrooms and mess hall. You can get coffee and drinks in the mess hall, and they serve breakfast after hang gliding in the mornings around 10 am. And lunch in the later afternoon, around 2 or 3, I think. Meals are now $10 each. Please keep track of your expenses and pay on your way out at the end of the weekend.

We bring stuff to cookout, and Wallaby has a couple of grills we can use in the evenings. Bring a cooler with your food and beverages. We need someone to bring firewood for the fire pit! If you can bring some, please note it in your comments on the website.

There's also a pool, a hot tub and a trampoline.

If you are HANG GLIDING: Expect to be up at the crack of dawn. This is when the winds are calmest. They ONLY do tandem flights in ideal weather. This is the only tandem hang gliding operation in the world with NO accidents on record! They are GOOD and SAFE. Sometimes when the winds cooperate, they do sunset flights, as well. This is amazing, but don't wait, because you might lose your chance. This is why we camp two nights, so we can get the maximum chances to get folks in the air. Looks like rates will be $120 per person (If 10 or more people glide, you get a 10% discount).

A USHGA-certified tandem instructor will fly side by side w/ student in a hang glider built for two. The weight limit is about 240 lbs. for tandem students. Flight lasts about fifteen minutes. This price includes everything: all your equipment, the instructor, glider rental, and the tow, plus ground school. People under the age of 18 must have a parental signature on the liability waiver form.
